Looking for some instant colour then summer bedding is your answer, available from easter these little gems will give you a splash of bright or pastel colours, be sure to plant in good multipurpose compost with added slow realise feed. Watering is also a big factor when it comes to your bedding plants looking good in the sunshine.

Petunias come in a wide range of colours, that will spread to produce a carpet of flowers.

Bacopa producing clean white flowers all summer long. Trailing habit which is ideal for baskets and containers.

Verbena’s low, spreading growth habit make it a good flower to grow in front of taller flowers such as petunias or as a trailing plant in mixed containers.
